Do, do, do….strolling along, everything is going fine and BAM! people start going crazy.

Somehow “no international shipping” translated into “I’ll ship to Taiwan and Japan”

Somehow “PayPal payment expected within 48 hrs of auction end” translated into “I accept checks, and wait to ask me about my address until after the 48 hrs has passed”.

Then after buying a jillion things on EBay, 2 people decide to take my money, keep the item and one decided to resell the item.

What the HELL is this about? I’ve never had any problems with EBay buyers and sellers until this last month.

Then when you try to get these people to follow your policies and the policies of EBay and PayPal they act like you are the bad guy.

I won’t even go into fees. Please.

Just send me my stuff if I bought from you and if you buy from me then PAY ME! It’s not rocket science!

Gosh, that feels a little bit better. Not much, but a little.

Wheel of Fortune-“I have 4 children, 2 that are mine and 2 stepchildren”. Come on now people, you are on national tv. Can’t you just say 4 children?

Do you pick out the WORMS?

Everyone gives me the hardest time for this one. I pick the worms out of eggs. Alright, if you know what I am talking about right off the bat, then you should probably be picking them out also.

You know, it's that big glob of umbilical cord attached to the yolk. GROSS!

So, do you pick out the worms?

Borders Book Stores

I have to give them a shout out! Yesterday I went to Borders to use my 40% off coupon for any book I wanted. I didn't have to buy anything else. No minimum purchase. Just straight out 40% off. The store was packed. The line was long. They had cashiers! Heaven forbid. There were at least 6 of them. They knew they had a promotion going on and they were prepared. Hot damn! Everyone in line had their coupons out. Every single person had one. That's the way to do it!

So if you purchase books, sign up for their emails!

Where are our manners?

So we go out to eat tonight and I have to listen to everyone blowing their noses while I'm trying to swallow. Now I know that 99.9% of you don't really know me, but I can deal with a lot. The only things that really make me nauseated are large messy road kills and bodily functions. Phlegm in particular.

So, I get home and send an email to my local news station. Hey, I have to get it off my chest. I suggest to them that they have a 2 minute spot each week on manners.

Don't blow your nose at the dinner table, whether you are at home or in a restaurant.
Hold the door open for the next guy.
Say thank you and you're welcome.

You know these are really the simple and easiest ones for everyone to remember, yet they seem to be the hardest.

Phrases and sayings

I love the internet! I love google. It never lets me down. Sometimes it takes me a little longer than I might like to find something only because I haven't thought of the right words. But when I do, it is fantastic.

I'll often say a phrase and then think to myself, "where did that come from?". So I found the most excellent site. Sayings and Phrases Check it out. Very cool.

Random Photos

Why not? Random thoughts, random photos.

I love taking pictures and have since I was old enough to hold a camera.

It's kinda odd how the regular mailman always rings the bell and gives me my packages. Except.....

when the package is jacked up and ripped opened, the fill-in mailman throws it on the porch and runs.

Okay, for whatever reason, I haven't watched videos on TV in years. About a month ago I started watching VH1 in the mornings. I'm loving it. Even jumping around a little. Notice I didn't say dancing. It's doing me a little good I think. Better than nothing I figure.

Let me tell you something that I love about the internet. How fantastic is it that when the video comes on and I still don't know the words, that I can hurry up and ask the internet for the lyrics and before the song is half over I am singing (some may say screaming) the lyrics. COOL! I love it!

Okay, my favorite songs:

I don't care.....The Fall Out Boys

Love Story...Taylor Swift

Put a Ring on it....Beyonce

Human....The Killers

That's just a few that I knew the names. I actually get more done with the videos on. After I am more familiar with the video, I won't stare at the TV as much.

But where are the music videos after 10? I have to resort back to Law and Order reruns for background noise. Not too bad, but a little dull after bouncing around for a while.
